| USAF Air Combat Command (ACC) Occupational Risk Evaluations for Air Combat Command |

Proxtronics provides occupational health risk evaluations, documentation of potential work exposures evaluation of program area deficiencies, and identification of exposure, sources for 13 USAF Air Combat Command bases. These evaluations include verifying and/or updating chemical inventories, air sampling, identifying and evaluating potential sources of hazardous noise and conducting noise dosimetry, identifying and evaluating ionizing radiation sources, evaluating engineering controls, evaluating confined spaces, determining adequacy of personal protective equipment (PPE), performing ergonomics evaluations and evaluating base hazard communication programs. Proxtronics works with the base Bioenvironmental Engineering Shop (Bio) to provide hands-on over-the-shoulder training of surveys/tasks being performed for any Bio personnel requiring training. Proxtronics works directly with the AFIOH Sampling and Analytical Section on any questions that arise during sampling events. Proxtronics gathers information required to properly document all surveillance and enters that information into the bases' occupational health database, usually the Command Core System. Proxtronics prepares a summary report of activities for each base.

Proxtronics reviewed the ANG's Emergency Responder Program and their allowance standards for in-place patient decontamination, immediate medical response, and Bioenvironmental Engineering detection and met with senior ANG Team Aerospace personnel to facilitate discussions of the review versus current ANG capabilities. Based upon the findings of the discussion, Proxtronics developed specific guidelines for each of the three Emergency Responder Program areas. Proxtronics provided a detailed report on the interaction of the review and the developed guidelines to include technical or policy gaps in capabilities that remained at the completion of this effort.
